State Registration: You must already be registered with the State of California Department of Social Services (CDSS).

Verification: Please have your HCA/HCI ID number ready to provide during your initial screening to verify your active registry status.

Standard Schedule (Starting June 1st): 3 days per week โ Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday afternoons.

Temporary Morning Schedule (2-Week Window in June): Shifts will temporarily pivot to morning hours for a consecutive two-week block while her primary worker is away. You must be available for morning shifts during this specific window.

Home Organization: Help the client organize, clean, and settle comfortably back into her home environment.

Morning Routine Support: Provide physical assistance with getting up, getting ready, and morning medication reminders (during the morning shift window).

Community & Mobility Access: The client drives herself independently, but her accessible van ramp can only be opened from the outside. You will meet her or accompany her to appointments to assist with opening/closing the van ramp safely.

Accessible Communication: The client is Deaf and communicates exceptionally well through writing, text, and gestures. American Sign Language (ASL) skills are a major plus, but are not required for this role.

Registry Status: Active registry with the California Department of Social Services (CDSS).

Extreme Reliability & Punctuality: The client requires a caregiver who arrives on time, every time. Consistent attendance is the highest priority for this position.

Patience & Communication: Strong interpersonal skills and comfort communicating via text, written notes, and gestures.

Physical Stamina: Ability to assist with physical transfers and handle light home organization tasks.

Background Check: Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.

Experience: Previous experience working with adults with disabilities (Cerebral Palsy experience preferred but not required).

Predictable, Steady Hours: Secure a guaranteed part-time schedule with a single client.

Mileage Reimbursement: For any on-the-shift driving.
